Hailing from a small mining village in Wales, Pontypridd to be precise, I started out when the colour of your logo might have depended on the available ‘Magic Makers, thankfully Apple changed that.

An ambition was fulfilled when I moved to London, where I spent ten years at various agencies working on brands such as Stella Artois, Fortnum & Mason, Guinness, and Dulux. My last four years in London were with DesignBridge, a multi-award-winning design specialist that has since opened offices in Amsterdam, Singapore, and New York.

Arriving in Cape Town in 2003, I immersed myself in the freelance scene, before joining TBWA Cape Town permanently, focusing primarily on Woolworth’s and The Waterfront.

I later became Creative Director at 34°, specialising in retail and business development. 34° was acquired by King James, which was then acquired by Accenture Song. In these roles, I led creative efforts for many high-profile clients, picking up some awards on the way.

I believe creativity thrives on human interaction and resonating responses. With the rapidly evolving tech landscape, we can delve deeper into what makes people ‘tick,’ using technology as an ‘employee’ to make a meaningful impact on lives while having fun and doing good.
